Not only were they not, they were reselling to a dealer who also sold NASA surplus with promotional material still on the HD's. Nothing vital but considering this guy (nice and honest a he was) was a columbian national without proper papers I bet, I made a call. The hacker was probably acs and their poor IT security proceedures. This was six years ago so it's moot now but these companies need to erase those hd's theselves then hire a bonded company to do it again on case they miss one with ss numbers on it.
