Is anyone else bothered by the fact that, according to the stores, it’s been Christmas for about two months now? Granted, I’m a fan of Christmas. I think the lights are pretty and that it’s fun to get cool presents. But come on people, does it really need to start in August?? I understand that the economy has tanked (thank you President Pigfucker), but don’t mess with Halloween. I’ve accepted (and even come to enjoy) the fact that Thanksgiving has become Christmas Part 1, but leave my Halloween alone!! That being said, my next-door neighbors have put up their Christmas decorations already. This includes many lights and two huge inflatable, light-up snowmen. I could even excuse putting the decorations up early, as the weather has been extremely nice. However, do they have to turn them on already??!! Come on!! It’s still 65 degrees outside!! It’s not Christmas yet, and I refuse to say it is for at least another week. So there.
